An octagonal Art Deco coffee pot in silver-plated white metal, France, around 1925 to 1935.
A tall faceted body, a long knife-edge spout and a squared ebonised wood handle, with a matching black ball finial on the hinged lid. Pure geometry for the morning table, or a sculptural accent among boho treasures on a shelf.
Marks: stamped "MÉTAL BLANC", a square stamp "16" and a worn maker's mark. The mark may be that of Camille Longuet, a Paris maker active from 1922, but we are not 100% sure.
Condition: honest age wear. The silver plating has worn through to the warm base metal in places, mostly on the base, the spout and one side (see photos). Lid, hinge and handle are sound.
Dimensions: H 16 x W 21.5 x D 10 cm. Weight: under 1 kg.
