A beautifully hand-painted faience pitcher from Les Sables d'Olonne, France.

This charming piece features vibrant polychrome floral designs, intricate scrollwork, and a heraldic crest adorned with a crown and the initials "H IV." from Henry IV, King of France from 1589 until 1610.

The base is marked with artisan initials and the number "1681," likely referencing the pattern or design series, while the piece itself dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.

Excellent antique condition with minor wear and small chips consistent with its age and use.
